Noïal Randelli is an artist whose work is deeply informed by her upbringing. She was born on Réunion Island, off the coast of Madagascar. Her early years were shaped by a life of constant movement, her family travelled extensively, moving from place to place. Her art often pulls inspiration from the environments she experienced growing up. These complex observed landscapes, people, and patterns inspire her art today. Noïal's practice spans a variety of media and techniques, from painting and sculpture to collage and installation art. The coexistence of beauty and unease is a central theme in her work. Inspired by a scenic and turbulent childhood, she is interested in how our environments shape our identities and how we adapt to constant change.
